Richard G. Edwards – Vice Chair (unopposed)
As a participant in many SATW events over almost 20 years and more recently heading the top level Pioneer Sponsorship at SATW by UnTours over the last two years, I’m pleased to be considered for the role of Vice Chair for the SATW Associates Council. With over 30 years of experience in the travel industry and my work at Untours—a company known for its unique approach to immersive travel experiences–as well as previously heading up the marketing departments at pioneering places like G Adventures and UnCruise, I’ve had the opportunity to lead engaging presentations and create content that resonates with diverse audiences. This background has equipped me to seamlessly step into managing the media webinars we have planned for the year for the Associates Council. I’m a seasoned travel professional with a strong understanding of both media and destination marketing, and I view webinars as a powerful way to share insights, spark meaningful conversations, and strengthen industry connections. I’m also highly organized, collaborative, and always looking for ways to add value to the society. I’d be honored to help shape dynamic, informative programming that supports and connects our SATW Associates Council community.

Elizabeth Schrack – Secretary/Treasurer (unopposed)
I’m honored to be considered for the Associate Council secretary/treasurer position with SATW. I’ve always believed in the power of clear communication, strong organization, and collaboration to move our industry forward. In every role I take on, I bring a detail-oriented, reliable approach—and I’m committed to supporting our council with transparency, accountability, and enthusiasm. Through my work at the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau, I’ve gained valuable insight into the unique challenges and opportunities faced by smaller CVBs. This perspective allows me to advocate for content and professional development that’s not only high-quality but also truly relevant and accessible to a wide range of destinations. I would be grateful for your vote and the opportunity to serve this incredible community.
